Flash on webpages can be a memory hog, and a source for annoying ads and create stability problems. Corey discusses these issues and why you may want to block flash on webpages. He will also demonstrate add-ons for your Safari and FireFox that requires user interaction to enable flash on web pages.

DNS plays an important role in getting your internet connected devices online. Katie will briefly discuss what DNS is and how it works, and two alternative DNS options that may offer you a faster web browsing experience, as well as controls over the types of content and sites that are allowed on your network. (Don’t worry - this isn’t as advanced as it sounds!)
